By registering as an artist on Akkir Radio, you agree to the following terms. These terms are not exhaustive and may be updated.

1. Playlist Use & Airplay

You grant Akkir Radio (JoostechMedia) a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to include your submitted tracks in our radio playlists and broadcast them on Akkir Radio and affiliated franchise stations, worldwide, without any payment obligation. You retain full ownership of your music and may submit it to other platforms simultaneously.

2. Artist Portal & Monetization Links

You are welcome — and encouraged — to link your monetizing social profiles (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, etc.) inside your Artist Portal. Listeners who discover your music on Akkir Radio can follow these links to support you directly on platforms where you earn royalties.

3. Content Standards & Removal

Akkir Radio reserves the right to remove, reject, or suspend any submitted track or artist account that, in our sole discretion:

• Infringes the copyright or intellectual property rights of any third party;
• Contains hate speech, incitement to violence, discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic;
• Is sexually explicit, gratuitously offensive, or otherwise unsuitable for a general audience;
• Violates any applicable law or regulation;
• Misrepresents the origin or ownership of the submitted content.

Removal may occur without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss of airplay or promotional opportunity resulting from such removal.

4. Representations

By submitting tracks you confirm that you own or control all rights necessary to grant the licence above, and that the submission does not violate any third-party rights.

5. Label & Distribution Agreements

You warrant that you are not party to any record label, distribution, or management agreement that restricts, limits, or requires third-party consent for you to grant broadcast licences independently. If you are signed to a label or distribution deal, you warrant that your agreement expressly permits you to grant the licence set out in clause 1 without further consent or payment to that label or distributor.

If your rights position changes after submission — for example, you subsequently sign with a label — you agree to notify Akkir Radio immediately at pieter@joostechmedia.com. Failure to notify may result in immediate removal of your tracks and recovery of any costs incurred by Akkir Radio as a result.

Akkir Radio is built for independent artists who own and control their rights directly. Tracks submitted by artists who do not have the independent authority to grant broadcast licences will be removed from rotation without liability to Akkir Radio.

6. Performing Rights Organisations (PROs)

You declare whether your submitted music is registered with any Performing Rights Organisation or Neighbouring Rights body, including but not limited to SAMRO, SAMPRA, ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, PRS, or any equivalent body in any territory. If your music is PRO-registered, Akkir Radio reserves the right to withhold or remove your tracks from radio rotation until the appropriate licence is in place. Your artist profile and promotional presence on the platform will not be affected.

7. Acceptance

Ticking the checkbox during registration constitutes your acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree, please do not register.

8. Songwriter Production Service

Akkir Radio offers an optional service whereby artists submit original lyrics and JoostechMedia produces a fully realised song — including composition, arrangement, instrumentation, and recording — around those lyrics ("the Produced Track").

• You retain ownership of your original lyrics. Your copyright in the lyrics you submitted is not transferred and remains yours.
• JoostechMedia retains the commercial rights to the Produced Track. As producer of the music, arrangement, and master recording, JoostechMedia owns the Produced Track as a whole.
• Personal and promotional use is permitted. You may share the Produced Track on social media and personal platforms, provided JoostechMedia is credited as producer in the format: "Produced by Akkir / JoostechMedia."
• Commercial use outside Akkir Radio requires a separate written agreement. Distribution, sale, licensing, or any other commercial exploitation of the Produced Track — including on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, or TikTok — requires a prior written royalty agreement with JoostechMedia. The royalty shall be 10% of net revenue derived from the Produced Track, or the applicable industry-standard rate, whichever the parties agree in writing.
• Credit is mandatory in all uses. Any use of the Produced Track, whether commercial or non-commercial, must include the credit: "Produced by Akkir / JoostechMedia."

Failure to comply may result in removal of the Produced Track from the Akkir Radio platform and/or enforcement of JoostechMedia's rights.
